FAQ'S

Things we are often asked about our puppies, their parents, visits, feeding socialization and care.

What is a Goldendoodle?

Goldendoodle

Goldendoodle is 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever, with full-blooded parents. They can also be called F1 Goldendoodles and are the first generation crossing the two breeds.

What is the difference between a F1 and a F1b?

A F1 Goldendoodle is the first generation crossing of two breeds (ex: 50% Golden Retriever + 50% Poodle.)

A F1b Goldendoodleis the result of breeding a F1 Goldendoodle and a Poodle. This results in a stronger occurrence of Poodle traits.

If I have a F1b will it look like a poodle?

No. Not all puppies from F1b litters have curly / frizzy coats and long noses.

Are your dogs hypoallergenic?

The more Poodle in the Doodle, the less likely they are to shed. We recommend F1b's for people with allergies.

When will you have a puppy for me?

The length of time varies , based on what you are looking for. Sometimes we have availability at the time of your enquiry.

Socialization doesn't stop when you collect your puppy! From 8-16 weeks old you want to maximise your puppies interactions with the world. We provide a guide on how to do this safely.
